Two Internet Marketers Walk Into A Bar …

I’ve been getting quite a few emails from subscribers all asking how baby Adam is doing now, so I thought I’d post a few new pictures for everyone to look at.

As you can see, he’s getting REALLY big now.

(He’s only 3 months but weighs 17 lbs!)

It’s such a great feeling to be able to work from home and spend time with my wonderful family, and it reminds me why I’m in this business of trying to help others achieve the same thing.

Things have been really hectic here the last few weeks as we’ve had a ton of friends and family visiting us, so I haven’t had time to give you as much great content as I’d normally like to.

But don’t worry … normal service should resume shortly :-)

In the last post, I asked you what some of your biggest problems were with getting a business started.

You gave a lot of great answers such as too little time, not enough technical experience, lack of traffic etc…

Look out for an email from me soon as I’m hoping to have a very exciting video for you in a few days that explains how you can eliminate a LOT of those problems quickly and easily.

Anyway, I also wanted to thank my buddy/ mentor/ business partner Eric Farewell for those incredible pictures above.

He actually drove all the way up from California in a 1970 VW bug.

It turns out he had quite the adventure and at one point actually SANK his car in the Pacific Ocean.

If you want to hear the full story on that, I really recommend you check out his blog now… It’s definitely not something you read about every day :-)

Also make sure to sign up for his “newsletter” too. It’s not just a marketing newsletter, more like his (mis)adventures :-) , but it’s the funniest list that I’m on.

http://www.EricFarewell.com

While he’s been here we’ve been working on some cool content and videos to be released soon and spent some time hanging out in downtown Seattle.

Here are a few more pics of my “adopted” hometown, including an incredible lunch we had at Kell’s Irish Pub (including the obligatory pint of Guiness!).

That’s pretty much all for now, but before you go could you do me a BIG favor and let me know which picture of Adam you like best?

We want to get one printed out and framed for the Grandparents at Christmas, but we can’t decide which one we like the most!

Just use the comment box below to let me know which one you like more :-)

Talk to you soon (killer content is next!),

  1. What a sweetie! His smiles were contagious here!
All the photos are absolutely precious. I can see why you’d have a hard time deciding. But as a soon-to-be grandma for the first time, I’d vote for the first one. It shows his personality all over his face and it would give them something to reflect on when they compare how he’s growing. It’s also so nice and close, you feel like you could reach out and pick him up, something grandparents are sure to love. Why not frame that as the big picture and then get a little smaller frames for the others and have the frames match so they can hang them as a collage of sorts. Ode’ to Adam wall. :)

The first photo is just gorgeous!!!!

  3. Hey Richard,

Nice to know someone is paying attention, but what happened to the first photo?

  4. Hi Richard,

I love all the photos Eric took, but I must say the third picture down, with all three of you stands out best! I think it would make a great Christmas card! It also shows the love between all three of you. Precious!

    Take Care,
    marilyn

  7. Hey Richard, That is one lovely child you got there, I like the picture of him smiling with your wife’s hand on his head but if you are sending them to relatives you might want to pick the one with all three of you in it. Can’t wait for the content you are going to give out, It is always good and informative.
Have a Wonderful Day, Timothy Millar “The Leprechaun” Oh Yeah, I have my blog ranked at 4,796,611 on Alexa, not bad for a free blog. Just about to hit 2500 visitors. I am also hubbing away, These hubs are a lot of fun.

  8. Hey Richard,

Can I get that video with the answers to the technical problems PLS?

  9. Hi Richard,

Congratulations for your newborn- Adam. He’s so cute & all the pictures are great. To choose from the 3 photos, I would choose Photo#3, Cute Adam with the handsome father & lovely wife, if only baby Adam face is shown more prominently.

To frame for Grandparents X’mas Gift would be Photo#1.. cheers..

Congrats to both of you once again..

BTW, I have continuously promote your website http://pinurl.com/linkguard as I believe for those who understand would test drive what you have recommended in your tutorial inside member’s area to start having their own website to immediately get started.

  10. Hi Richard, It’s been a while. Hope you had a great time with your family. I’m sure they enjoyed seeing Adam. He’s adorable. I like picture one with the big smile. What a cutey. I’d like to pick him up and hug him. That;s the grandmother in me talking!

Thanks for the update and the new pictures.

  11. Dear Richard, Thomas Richmond here, im enjoying your blog very much, in your email you sent me you meantioned that Eric traveled 1,700 hundered miles from CA in a VW bug in 1970 thats what got me, glad to know that hippies are still alive LOL. cant wait for the cool videos you guys are working on and that content. Have an awesome weekend my friend :) Thomas.

  12. Margret Gunnars says:

    Hi Richard and family,

He sure is getting big. Wow time flies. He will be walking before you know it :-) I personally like the first picture. You can see the happyness in his face and the eyes are open. Very sveet pictures all of them.

At last I am starting out. I m going to build a website ( or at least try to) and sell health products as an affiliate. Then maybe later on writing my own ebook. I have no technical experience and haven´t even tried to build a website, so I hope the best. Now I am trying to figur out the name for the site.

I am really looking forward to your video.

    Take care all of you

    Warmly,
    Margrét

  13. Tomas (Fletcher) says:

Well they are ALL good, of course, and WOW you are so right, he HAS really grown, God bless him… anyway I think the 1st one as it shows HIM as his best. and being in black and white is really cool. I also like the last one as it shows all 3 of you as a family but does not show Adam ay his best.

I would like to wish all of you the warmest good wishes for Christmas and hopefully 2009 will NOT be as bad as it seems that it will be. Tomas

  14. I like the first one. You can see his cute smiling face. Merry Christmas!

  15. Hi Richard and family,

Happy first festive system to you all and may the new year be wonderful. As a grandmother of many I would have liked the 3rd one but unfortunately you can’t really se Adam’s face so I would go for the first one instead.

    Regards, Maureen

  16. Hi Richard,

I love all three photographs, but if you want something that shows Adam off best I vote for the first one. The last with all three of you, although a lovely family photograph, doesn’t show his beautiful smile.

A collage of all three put together would also be lovely, but for a single shot I would go for the first one.

I would like to wish a and your family a very blessed holiday season and everything of the best for 2009.

    Best wishes,
    Hyla

  17. Hi Richard

I think #1 is beautiful Adam has grown so much and looks absolutly adoreable

    Warm Regards
    Maria

  18. @ Glenna – just post a comment to let me know your edit and I’ll take care of it :-)

To everyone else – thank you for the kind comments. I really like photo #1 as well, but making a nice collage is also a great idea!

    Thanks!

    Richard

  19. The pictures were all great. Adam already looks like a football player. you just want to hug him. I would vote for picture One. I really like 3 also but ot enogh Adam in it. As a father of four (the youngest is 36), and eight Grand children I can really appreciate these photos. Adam is a little doll and the parents aren’t to bad either! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your whole family.

    John Smith

P.S. How do you sink a VW Beetle in the Pacific Ocean?

  20. Dear Richard :

Hello. As Janet said all the photographs are gorgeous. If only a single photograph is to be choosen, I would go with the first one.

What joy a baby brings in our lives! Aren’t they wonderful? God Bless all.

  21. Hey, you must be two VERY proud parents – such a bonnie baby!

  22. Hi Richard

The photos are super.I can’t say that one is better than the other.

Adam is a beautiful baby.I would like to wish you and your lovely

family a super chrismas and holiday season.

    Warm Regards

    stella

  23. Hi Richard,
I always follow your posts, – don’t think i actually replied on your blog before though.

Little Adam is a sweetie, takes me back to when mine were nippers, but not too far, – my youngest is only 3, I say it like that because my oldest is probably older than you! and my wife and I are happily married after 26 years with loads of kids!
(The reason why I do this online stuff is for a little extra income)

Certainly time is the main problem for me, – outweighs everything else.

Getting back to little Adam (great name by the way, I wanted it for one of mine, my wife wasn’t so sure but we have a ‘Marcus Adam’) – The first photo has to be the best to get framed up, it shows Adam to his best.

All the best whichever you decide,

    Tom

  24. I saw your pictures and I understand why your busy.
I have two but that was a long time ago, now they’re not so cute.
    But there still my baby’s

  25. Seasons Greetings Richard, thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures of Adam. He is so adorable and has the most beautiful smile. A wonderful gift indeed. As for the picture I think you should take the picture of Adam by himself make it a bit bigger and in the background in smaller images place the other two. It would be a fabulous Christmas gift to give the Grandparents. May you have fun deciding.
    Take care,
    Glenda

  26. Hi Richard !
    Nice to hear you back.

Cute One !!! Couldn’t you post his coloured pix ???

    Regards,
    PKP

BTW: How can u guide me in Adsense ? Basically the ‘niches’, ‘contents’ and a good but not expensive ‘re-writing software’ viz. “Rapid Writer”…Send me something to work at. Tks

  27. Hi Richard.

Great to hear from you again, and to know you are all settling down in Seattle. Surprised you left the UK, but wish you all well in your new life in the States. Have a blessed Christmas, and best wishes for 2009.

I like the 1st Photo as it shows Adam at his best; he looks a very happy, and contented baby; must be due to his relaxed parents??

I have joined Alex Jeffreys coaching system recently.
Becomeablogger.com has 10 free videos which are a great help to building a Blog!! They may be a help to your members??

    Every blessing

  28. Hi Richard,

I am from India, I really admire your mail. I feel pleased to see the today’s post, that gives a family friendhisp feeling rather than merely commerical relations.

  29. Joyce Thorburn says:

    Hi Richard,

All three pictures are lovely. But I think the 1st one should be framed for the grandparents,
Glad to hear you had such a great time.
    Have a wonderful Holiday Season.
    Joyce

  30. Number 1 is the winner…I’m a grandmother and I would love to receive that picture of my precious grandson.

  31. Arthur Hand says:

I think for Grandparents it has to be number 1 but they are all great photographs. Why not frame number 1 & make a collage of all three as well.

Best wishes for Xmas & the New Year.

    Arthur

  32. Anne Smith says:

Lovely pictures, I think for grandparents go for #1 if you want just the one. A long frame with three monochrome pictures can be great, very harmonious, and you could zoom in on #2 and crop it, as the smile on Adam’s face is lovely, as is his mother’s hand caressing his head.

Off to read about the aquatic car now!

  33. Dino Bhatia says:

    Hi Richard,
Beatiful pictures, they are all beautiful, but being a grandparent, i would definitely pick #1. Grand parents must be very proud and happy. I am the only son amongst 7 children, and i have 3 daughters, and now i am a proud grandparent of 4 grandsons!! Wish you all a very Happy Holidays.

  34. Hi Richard,
All of Eric’s photographs are brilliant. He has such a sensitive, artistic flair in capturing people’s personalities and landscapes.
I like the third one which shows Adam enjoying the loving attention of both parents because it gives the strongest message to Adam and to us about your love for eachother.
Best wishes to Eric as well from me.
Love to all of you and a cuddle for little Adam,
    Barb

  35. I agree that photo number one should be it. Of course grandparents want them all so number one as an 8 x 10 and the other two a bit smaller. As a grandparent of 8 and a great-grandparent of 10 all I can say is the more pics the better!
Adam is BEAUTIFUL! Such a shame he is an unhappy baby. lol (What a smile!)
Enjoy him to the fullest as they grow so fast!

May you and the Mrs. have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year.

  36. Hi Richard,

    Thanks for your wonderful mailings.
I believe that the first picture is great to send.
    Regards from Holland,

    Georgine

  37. All of the pictures are good but the 1st one (speaking as a grandmother) just makes you want to pick him up and kiss him. He is a beautiful baby – I would just go ahead and frame all 3 of them for the grandparents. They will feel joy everytime they look at the pictures and see the love and tenderness there. Enjoy and love Adam because the time does goes by so fast. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  38. Hi Richard,
Thanks for sharing. Photo one is a must because of the up close shot. But # 3 is equally important as it shows the engagement of love in all three. Two photos will compose well. Scrub the one idea! Always a pleasure to hear from you about your family. Life’s best wishes for you all.

    Henry,
    (Malaysian-Canadian)
